Description
The fi-8270 offers an innovative and superior experience, and comes with versatile scanning as flatbed and ADF. It provides quick scans in just 1.7 seconds ipm (200/300 dpi) as flatbed, and 70 ppm/140 ipm (200/300 dpi, color, A4 portrait) as ADF. The scanner loads up to 100 sheets at a time, and comes equipped with a capability of scanning up to as many as 10,000 sheets a day.

Automatic Separation Control’ optimises the paper feed according to the number of sheets loaded, ensuring a stable paper feed even during high-volume scanning. Interruptions caused by paper jams when scanning at high speeds of 70 ppm can be avoided.
Advanced paper protection function combines sound and image technologies
In addition to iSOP technology, which stops the scanning of steeply angled and stapled documents if abnormal noise is detected, Image Monitoring technology acts as a paper protector.
This technology performs real-time image monitoring to ensure the safety of documents when angles exceed the safety range, helping users to scan accurately and comfortably.
Supports scanning of a wide range of documents
The scanner handles a variety of document types, so you can scan everything with a single scanner. The manual feed mode scans copy forms, glued documents and A3 documents folded in half. Passports and booklets up to 7 mm thick can also be scanned, without the need for backing sheets.
The fi-8270 scanner detects the presence of thick plastic cards and labelled or barcoded documents, ruling out multiple-feed errors, so cards and paper documents can be scanned simultaneously even when multiple-feed detection is enabled. Users can group documents together and continue scanning without interruption.
